Cloud Foundations
The eight-project sequence that takes a growing business from legacy IT to genuinely cloud native — delivered through the same review, design, implement model, then kept that way for a flat monthly fee per head.
Why sequence matters
Most of this is already in your Microsoft licence. It's just switched off.
Most 2–100 seat businesses on Microsoft 365 are paying for far more than they're using — Power Platform, Defender, Purview, Copilot are usually sitting there unconfigured. Becoming cloud native isn't one project, and it isn't a single "migration." It's eight, done in the right order, so identity and device management are solid before security is layered on, and security is solid before Copilot is switched on.
Cloud Foundations is that sequence, packaged as a fixed monthly fee per head: we review where you stand against all eight, design the order that fits your business, and implement them one at a time — then keep managing whichever ones are live.
The roadmap
Eight engagements to establish where you're at.
Click any phase to open it up.
Entra ID tenant cleanup, migrating off legacy on-prem Active Directory and Exchange, moving mail and files onto Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and OneDrive, and retiring on-prem file servers.
Moving devices from local domain-join and Group Policy onto Entra-joined, Intune-managed devices with Autopilot provisioning — and properly enforcing MFA and Conditional Access.
Microsoft Defender for Business and Defender for Office 365, plus a structured programme against Secure Score — the phase most businesses feel urgently but buy last.
Purview sensitivity labels, DLP and retention policies, and proper third-party backup for Microsoft 365 data — since native retention isn't a backup.
Migrating legacy phone systems to Teams Phone, and moving multi-site businesses away from site-to-site VPN dependency toward Conditional Access as the access control layer.
Whatever's left on-prem — a domain controller, a line-of-business app, a database — either migrates to Azure or gets retired in favour of a SaaS replacement.
Power Automate for workflow, Power BI for reporting, Power Apps for lightweight internal tools — the licence most Business Premium and E3 customers are already paying for and not using.
Microsoft 365 Copilot rollout, deliberately last — it's only safe and useful once the Purview governance from phase four is in place.
